It has been hectic here with preparing for the holidays and the show. I am excited to stop this prep work and revamping of my website and get outside and paint. Upcoming events I am excited about are the Beargrease Sled dog Marathon, such a favorite of mine to photograph and at the same time is the Winter Paint out on Bearskin Lake and show following..Also I think I have convinced a couple of the girls to come up and be brave and have a painting day on Lax lake, painting all the little ice shacks...I promised them fire and heaters. hope they will come

working hard in my studio to clear up some paintings unfinished and to get organized for summer....It has been a long winter ready to get back out in the field painting

finished 3 pieces this weekend and found out I get to take a painting trip to the Badlands of SD in May. I am so excited. This will be a major step forward for my art and I look forward to coming home with a full show of paintings from my trip. I am excited to work today in the studio and then reward myself with a trek down to the falls on the Baptism river. I could hear it roaring from the Hwy yesterday and if the sun shines I am going on a photo shoot and hopefully a small painting to top off my day of hard work...
